Reggie Berg

Reggie Berg hails from the small town of Auburn, IN and has been performing professionally since age 9. Berg placed as a finalist in the 2016 Thelonious Monk Institute auditions and performed for Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Jimmy Heath, and other eminent jazz artists. He can be heard on his own CD of solo piano compositions entitled, “My Spoken Heart,” Lynn Baker’s “Azure Intention,” Paul Mullikin’s “Fruition,” The Playground Ensemble’s “Dreams Go Through Me,” Vivian Li’s “Mississippi Waltz” and numerous other recordings. Berg’s greatest strength is his ability to navigate numerous genres with ease, whether performing or composing. In just the past 5 months, Berg has toured as a jazz pianist with the Air Force Falconaires, performed on synthesizer and keyboards in an Incubus cover band and 70’s classic rock band, music directed Sondheim’s “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum,” performed as a soloist with the contemporary classical music group, The Playground Ensemble; served as a sight-reading pianist for opera and musical theater auditions, and lead “The Reggie Berg Trio” in various performances throughout Denver, CO
