Andrew Brown

Principal cellist of The Longmont Symphony, Mahler Fest, Aspen Music Festival’s Opera, collaborations with The Playground Ensemble and Takács Quartet’s Geraldine Walther.  As a doctoral candidate at CU Boulder under the tutelage of David Requiro, Mr. Brown will be recording and publishing a compilation of unaccompanied compositions for cello by American composers for his final dissertation.  Music degrees from The University of Denver (Bachelor’s of Music – cello performance) and The Cleveland Institute of Music (Master’s of Music – cello performance and Suzuki cello pedagogy)
